This Masterplug weatherproof outdoor socket facilitates Mode 2 electric vehicle charging. For use with Mode 2 EV charging cables (UK 3-pin to Type 1 or Type 2). With added safety features which include an A-Type DP RCBO for added safety protection for prolonged charging. Suitable for use as a regular outdoor socket. Outdoor sockets are an ideal option for managing outdoor or garden appliances and can be installed in gardens and patios, as well as in shed’s, outhouses and garages. This 13A single outdoor power socket from Masterplug is IP66 rated and designed to protect against water and dust ingress in the most arduous of conditions. Made with a robust, high impact UV stable housing, multiple gland entry positions , quick wire entry, and an ergonomic design.
